Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company, has been awarded the prestigious FD-Henri Sijthoff prize for the best annual report by a company listed on the AEX stock exchange in the Netherlands for its 2014 Integrated Annual Report.
The jury recognized DSM's 2014 Integrated Annual Report above all for its comprehensive, integrated approach, which gives detailed insight into the company's social (People), environmental (Planet) and financial (Profit) results and impact, as well as the close correlation between the report of the Audit Committee and the opinion of the external auditor. The jury also considers the 'What Still Went Wrong' section of DSM's report a best practice.
The FD-Sijthoff prize was awarded for the 62nd time. DSM CFO and Member of the Managing Board Geraldine Matchett received the award on behalf of the company at a ceremony in Amsterdam. DSM previously won the award for its reports on 1996, 2002 and 2011.
