dsm-firmenich, innovators in nutrition, health, and beauty, will offer clients and visitors exclusive and unique experiences at the World Perfumery Congress (WPC) 2024 in Geneva, Switzerland from June 24 to 27. WPC is the biggest trade event in the Perfumery and Beauty calendar, where industry leaders, perfumers, opinion leaders and fragrance fans from all over the world converge for three days to exchange ideas, catch up on trends and learn about the latest in fragrance development. This year, dsm-firmenich will be presenting a packed program exploring the theme: “Fragrance Forward: Where Global Innovation & Creativity Meet.” With the WPC 2024 happening in Perfumery & Beauty’s hometown of Geneva, the company will host different fragrance experiences for its clients and business partners.

Honoring its history of ingredients innovation, dsm-firmenich will have a dedicated booth to showcase the latest Sharing Innovation collection. Sharing Innovation is a collection of perfumery ingredients that demonstrate the company’s rich history of breakthrough scientific innovations and natural extraction expertise, as well as initiatives that are making a global impact and ensuring environmental sustainability.  This year’s collection includes six new ingredients, including Clearwood® Prisma, which is a captive biotech ingredient being launched in celebration of the 10th year anniversary of Clearwood®, one of dsm-firmenich’s iconic sustainable biotech-based ingredients.

An immersion into the world of fragrance

Fragrance aficionados attending WPC will get the chance to immerse themselves into the world of perfumery. Chief Science & Research Officer Sarah Reisinger and Master Perfumer François-Raphaël Balestra will engage in a conversation exploring “Innovation in Fragrance Creation: partnership and new technology at the heart of discovery.” This conversation will showcase the company’s capabilities in science, innovation and its world-class palette, while putting perfumers at the heart of creation. Senior Perfumer Soraia da Costa Silva will also be sharing insights on her career during her talk, “Renewing My Journey as a Perfumer.” Followed by Dr. Dong-Fang Chen, Chief Scientist at Scentrealm, dsm-firmenich’s China-based partner and leading digital scent technology pioneer, who will give a talk on “The Development and Improvement of the Digital Scent Players.”

Part of the exciting WPC program this year is an unparalleled experience. A presentation of Mind Nose+ Matter™ Momentum, successfully launched in New York City last May, will take place at the dsm-firmenich Perfumery & Beauty headquarters in Geneva. This features fragrances, ingredients, innovations, and multi-sensorial activations.  Mind Nose + Matter™ is an exclusive platform for co-creation and exploration to examine the future of fragrance fueled by consumer insights, socio-cultural trends and the creativity of perfumers. This year’s theme “Momentum” will be an encounter of fragrance through movement, exploring scent through a variety of interactive installations and never-before-smelled fragrances.

A limited number of selected media will also enter a journey of exploration discovering what lies behind the bottle, with a visit to the Perfumery & Beauty headquarters in Geneva.

The World Perfumery Congress 2024 will be happening at the Palexpo International Exhibition and Convention Center. For more information, visit www.worldperfumerycongress.com.
