DSM appoints new EVP People & Organization and member of the Executive Committee

Royal DSM, a global science-based company active in health, nutrition and materials, today announces that Judith Wiese, currently Vice President People & Organization Corporate with Mars, Incorporated, will join DSM as Executive Vice President Group People & Organization on 1 October 2017.

She will succeed Peter Vrijsen as of 1 January 2018 who has been effectively transforming the DSM HR organization and processes since joining the company in 2014. Peter has chosen to retire after a long and successful career.

Judith, a German national, holds a master in Business Administration in HR and Economics from the University of Duisburg, Germany. She joined Mars in 1998 and has held a number of HR-leadership positions in various regions of the world and within different sectors, all with a focus on people and organization, talent management and organizational development. Judith is currently based in McLean (Virginia, USA).

In her new role, Judith will report to Feike Sijbesma, CEO and Chairman of the Managing Board, and become a member of the Executive Committee.
