Royal DSM N.V. (NYSE Euronext: DSM KON)は、マーテック・バイオサイエンシズ・コーポレーション(NASDAQ: MATK)の発行済普通株式全株式を1株当たり31.50ドルで公開買付け(以下「本公開買付け」)することを発表しましたが、本日、1976年改正ハート・スコット・ロジノ独占禁止法(Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvement Act of 1976)に基づく強制的待機期間が終了したことを発表しました。 これにより、本公開買付けの条件は満たされました。

本公開買付けは、他の規制当局の承認およびその他の一定の条件が満たされることを条件として実施される。 本公開買付けは、本公開買付けが延長されない限り、2011年2月18日（金）午後5時（ニューヨーク市時間）に終了する予定である。
